YWCA of Bangladesh organized a one-day RiseUp! Orientation on Advocacy Guidelines and Action Plan 2026 under the RiseUp! Phase-IV project, bringing together 43 participants from six local YWCAs across Bangladesh.

The orientation aimed to share the advocacy program guidelines and action plan while strengthening collaboration among Youth Leads, Master Trainers, Alumni, and representatives from local YWCAs. During the program, participants discussed strategies for implementing local-level advocacy campaigns and identified key issues to address within their respective communities.

Through collaborative brainstorming sessions, the Master Trainers and Alumni finalized campaign topics and explored effective approaches for carrying out advocacy initiatives. Participants also discussed the development and use of campaign materials to maximize the impact of their outreach activities.

The orientation further included sessions on organizing local-level advocacy conferences and effectively moderating panel discussions. To enhance their skills, confidence, and preparedness, participants actively engaged in role-play exercises, group work, and interactive discussions throughout the day.

The event served as an important platform for empowering young leaders, strengthening advocacy skills, and preparing participants to create meaningful change in their communities through collective action.
