National Board Meeting 2026

The Bangladesh YWCA National Board Meeting was held on 4–5 September 2026, bringing together around 80 participants, including representatives and General Secretaries from 13 Local YWCAs, representatives of the Headquarters-based Board, and staff members of the National YWCA.
The two-day meeting began with a warm welcome for all participants. On the first day, the 13 Local YWCAs presented reports on their activities and achievements over the past year, followed by constructive discussions and reflections.
The second day began with a special prayer led by youth members. Staff from the relevant desks of the National YWCA subsequently presented the National General Secretary’s report. The meeting provided an important platform to review organizational activities, share experiences and learning and discuss priorities for strengthening and advancing the YWCA’s work in the coming days.
The meeting concluded with the presentation of crests and certificates of recognition to 13 branches in appreciation of their performance in the Savings and Credit Programme.
